Star-C Programs
Star-C Programs play a crucial role in reducing resident transiency in affordable housing communities and nearby schools, providing academic support for children, and ultimately improving the quality of life for the indiviual and the neighborhood.
We offer After-School Care, enriching Summer Camps for children, and wraparound services for families living in affordable apartment communities, all provided at no additional cost to the resident.

Partners with Us
In order to build capacity to expand Star-C Select, Star-C launched a $3 million capital campaign in late 2022, and 50% of the funding has been committed to date. The purpose of the funds is to offer and implement our Star-C Select initiative at the affordable apartment communities currently signed into the Star-C Eviction Relief Fund.
The funds also will support five new Star-C community centers and the three existing centers, for a total of eight. Our community centers are on-premises at affordable apartment communities located near high-need schools. The community centers host our full suite of wraparound services, with on-site staff to oversee all programming. Star-C requires that each apartment owner fund a minimum of 50% of the operational cost of the community center site, plus provide a facility to house the director and program; Star-C provides the funding for the remaining 50% of operational costs.
